I found N'Faly Kouyate on myspace yesterday and showed him the pics I took of him at Womad last year. He was very enthusiastic, asking for copies and suggesting I might photograph his whole band when they are over here in Summer. He also immediately loaded one as the backdrop for the band's page - [link]
Spurred on by this warm response, I have been tweaking the pics, experimenting with different settings and also created this, just as an experiment. I dont think it's great, beyond that, I'm not sure. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Really great to hear about this!
We are currently trying to work out the logistics, which isnt easy as english is at best his 3rd language more likely 4th or 5th, so babelfish and I are trying to work out a way that wont mean he has to run all my missives by his sister in the US!
